This project aims to reach an audience of students from the Normal Technical stream, to show them a glimpse of life as their seniors had lived it. Literature about life or love catered to NT students are rather limited and most school material taught from textbooks demonstrate functional or practical tips about sex and relationships.
The life of a teenager, faced with unpredictable challenges and opportunities, is often far more colourful. However bleak life might seem to be, The School Never Asked presents scenarios and ways of thinking through relationships, sexuality and life choices that don’t go by the book. It aims to show that life is colourful and hopeful outside of the book, if only the school had asked!
Advisory: this website and some of its links may address themes of sexuality
